Some of the drawings linked below were drawn on the computer, using MiniCAD (now called Vectorworks). Others were drawn in pencil. Although the drawing techniques are very different, the conventional orthographic approach to depicting the object is the same, and the graphic presentation is similar. The student of mechanical drawing will notice that these technical drawings are different than those used in architecture or engineering in a number of significant ways.
